We spoke about how to be able to have packagist/composer recognize us as drupal/islandora, we have to use a gitlab repo to store our code. Though we prefer to keep our Github code repo as the main repo. For example, to do our CI/CD testing in Github which works well for us.

Here is how we set up the mirroring of our github commits into the gitlab repo that Drupal.org will use....

"I was testing the Drush 13 pr for the starter-site and the update-settings.php make function is no longer working. When I removed that call and just use the same default_settings.txt and environment variables as the isle-site-template it worked. Perhaps this would be a good time to change this function to be more inline with how the isle-site-template implements the settings.php file."

Don shared his own issues with making changes to Drupal settings too, specially with permission issues.

We talked a bit about the different approaches of making changes to Drupal settings files between isle-dc and isle-site-template. That perhaps the isle-site-template approach is better, and it could be good for it to be moved to isle-dc.
