- Possible add ferrite beads for motor
- 30 degree angle for motor plug instead of 45 degree angle to allow for better fit without bending the wires as much
- Battery charger/manager board should have mounting holes that match those on the control board to allow for stacking
- On/Off push button switch for complete power on/off
- Off/Mom push button switch for link contact and soft on/off
- Switch to 10.5 in frame from current 9.4 in frame to allow room for motor wires. Currently they have to be bent severely to get the motor into the frame which is not good for them. Additionally, the extra space will make it easier to fit the wires that go to the secondary board through the channel as the motor wires will not be blocking it as much.
- This will require that the channel for the wires have a flatter slope and be longer.
- Alternatively, it may be possible to keep the 9.4 in frame and just cut out a channel in support to allow motor wires through. This will cut the support in half though and make it less useful.
- proper hole positions on frame for PCB mounting screws
- Add holes on cover plate for LEDs (or just have robot send notifications to computer)
- Add space for pushbutton switch on robot for complete on/off and another for soft on/off
- Make sure outer radius of delrin is not too large where links no longer contact (new contact point is only at delrin)
