Keyboard Shortcuts
UltraWideo extension comes with predefined keyboard shortcuts that uses Browser's built-in native Commands API. This means, the browser will automatically strip the keystroke(s) from the extension, if you have some other extensions that are using the same keyboard shortcut as their preset. But also, it means that you can easily configure them to your own desires.
Here are UltraWideo's predefined keyboard shortcuts that are battle tested against different Browsers and Systems.
Option | Windows/Linux | macOS |
---|---|---|
Popup | Alt Period | Ctrl Command Period |
Activity | Alt Shift X | Ctrl Command X |
Mode | Alt Shift Z | Ctrl Command Z |
Scale X | – | – |
Scale Y | – | – |
It could be that some of these come as Not set
once you install the extension. That would mean that it conflicts with some other extension that you have installed. You have multiple options here:
- Either remove the conflicting key from the other extension, if you are not using it
- Remove that other extension entirely, if you are not using it
- Reassign the shortcut on the other extension to something else, then assign the shortcut from the table above back to UltraWideo
- Assign different shortcut on UltraWideo itself
Whichever option you choose, you will get the same outcome. UltraWideo extension will be happy with it.
Depending on your browser, I'd suggest searching on Google manage extension shortcuts in XXX
(replace XXX with the Browser's name)
