In XrmToolBox, you can open multiple plugins at the same time. They are opened each in one tab. Here is the feature that exists to work with tabs
To close a tab, you can:
- Click with mouse middle button on the tab
- Click on menu "Tabs" then "Close current tab" or "Close all tabs" or "Close all except active tab"
XrmToolBox lets you configure different options
You can choose to display plugins either with Large icons or Small icons. Large icons display more information but Small icons can display more tools on screen.
When "Most used tools" feature is enabled, XrmToolBox counts the number of tools opening and order them by this count descending so that tools you use more are displayed first
This feature allows you to uncheck tools you don't want to see in plugins list. This way, you don't have to delete the corresponding assembly
Proxy feature helps you to configure XrmToolBox to connect to your Dynamics CRM organizations through a proxy
Search feature helps you type characters to filter plugins list. This search is made against Plugin name and Plugin author. It's a "contains" search.
When you open XrmToolBox, search bar has focus so you can start typing the name of the plugin immediatly
To be completed
Feedback allows you to create a bug/issue in the source code repository used by XrmToolBox (Github) or the active plugin (if not from MscrmTools) on Github or CodePlex (depends on the plugin). This way, you can participate to the bugs fixes and enhancements of XrmToolBox and plugins
