Fixed a bug in new item detection that would cause weird issues with new items. Forcefully check for new items that don't belong as new items.

This CL fixes a few bugs in the alpha, namely new item detection, a lua error, and a few other things. This CL also completely redoes the debug frame to make it more robust and eliminate performance issues.
