We're working on a canonical word list to build trust by using consistent terminology, so I reviewed our Cosmos network glossary and found several opportunities for improvement.

  • changed 100 validator nodes > 125 validator nodes (thanks Johnny B)

I applied standards from our glossary guidelines, including:

  • change each entry to lower case
  • remove the repetition of each glossary entry term
  • minor rephrasing for clarity
  • remove obsolete terms that no longer apply to our ecosystem

Open to feedback! We'll be adding more terms as we move forward.

@fadeev do you recall/know how the glossary gets updated on the website? Who can help me verify this update glossary workflow?

hmmm no traction here, so maybe I did this PR on the wrong repo? Instead, see https://github.com/cosmos/cosmos.network/pull/221
if the cosmos repo is indeed the correct place for the glossary updates, I can close this PR.
