WPS has a built-in anti-malware mechanism that by default blocks a lot of DLLs from loading. Unfortunately, mactype.core.dll is also in its blocking list.

However, @wmjordan in https://github.com/snowie2000/mactype/issues/480#issuecomment-1279956498 found out that the latest version of WPS changed its way of protection and allows us to modify its blocking list, so here we have it.

Head over to C:\Users\LOG_IN_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\kingsoft\wps\addons\pool\win-i386\krpt_YOUR_CURRENT_WPS_VERSION and there is file named krpt.ini.

Open it and remove mactype.core from it and mactype should be back to work again.
