Vision Zero Deliverable Inventory Summary

Rémy Greinhofer edited this page Jul 12, 2019 · 2 revisions

This page summarizes the inventory of deliverables created by cities which pledge to implement Vision Zero.

  • Most of the cities/organizations use maps
    • Cities most often use ARCGIS
    • Sometimes graphs and inforgraphics
  • Denver, CO is a very complete example
  • Score cards for intersections/projects
  • Some cities simply refer to their data sets (Similar to the Austin Open Data Portal)
  • Goal tracking (very good idea!)
  • Cities aim to implement the program in a reasonable time frame (10-15 years) usually

Implementation Ideas

  • Maps
    • should be interactive
    • markers should have at least one meaning
    • find why heatmaps vs. single markers vs. clusters
