Jollibee is a fast-food chain known for its signature Filipino-style fried chicken and other Filipino-inspired dishes. Founded in the Philippines in 1978, Jollibee has since expanded globally, with over 1,400 stores in various countries. The goal is to perform an EDA with the given dataset using PowerBI for visualization.
Data is scrapped from Jollibee store locator. Link to the dataset can be found here.
Heatmap of the Jollibee stores location from the given dataset
Out of the total Jollibee stores, Jollibee owns 161 of them (109 by Jollibee Foods Corp and 62 by Freemont Foods Corp) while 218 are owned by franchisees, which means franchised stores make up 57.2%.
Most Jollibee restaurants in the dataset are located in the National Capital Region, which includes Quezon City and Manila - the two biggest cities in the Philippines.
Out of the 379 Jollibee locations in the dataset, a mere 17 of them serve breakfast, which accounts for only 4.5% of the total number. Additionally, a total of 167 Jollibee locations offer drive-through service, which makes up 44.1% of all Jollibees in the dataset. Interestingly, only three of the Jollibee locations, which is less than 1% of the total number, operate 24-hours a day.
