Maiha Hameed is an urban climatologist by training and a science communicator at heart. An Erasmus Mundus scholar, she works in environmental policy and planning at the Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy in the Maldives as an Air Quality Management Officer and takes an interest in topics linking the built environment to air quality, human health, and climate change. She led the development of a National Chemical Profile in 2015, followed by the first National Action Plan to Reduce Air Pollutants in 2019, and holds an MSc in Urban Climate and Sustainability and a BSc (hons) in Biotechnology. | ||
