This may be related to issue #9, but it seems at times I miss messages. I only discovered this when some conversations didn't make sense and hopped over to the Campfire web UI and saw many messages I never received.

I also have this problem. Probably at least 10% of the messages never get to me.

👍. 10% sounds about right. I can't see any sort of pattern to what gets dropped and what gets through, either.

I think I am seeing this, too. So far, I have noticed it manifested as messages missing from backscroll when I connect. I haven't tried it out in an active room yet.

Been using snakefire for about a week, and just realized I too was not receiving some messages (both in back scroll when I reconnect and in real time). I also say about 10% sounds right.

I don't know what steps to follow to recreate issue consistently. But when I noticed a few messages were missing from the back scroll when I connected this morning, I immediately disconnected and reconnected to see what would happen -- and a few more messages disappeared. I disconnected and reconnected over and over after that, and each time a few more messages disappeared until the entire back scroll was empty. Not sure if that helps you debug, but it's certainly a pattern of some sort!

Also seen that happen. Also couldn't figure out why.

I believe it might be server- or protocol-related, as I recall some Propane users notice this too.
