I needed to modify the location anchor for my project, so I’ve implemented it.
Currently, this implementation is only compatible with iOS. After many hours of research, I couldn’t find an equivalent solution for Android in the MapLibre-native GitHub repository. You likely have a better understanding of the codebase, so feel free to implement it or point me in the right direction.
