MidiSensors Library for Teensy

Super simple library for Teensy for making MIDI communication from analog or touch pins as painless as possible.

Setup

Configure Teensy USB Type to Serial+MIDI or MIDI

Setup the MidiManager Parameters:

  • interval for sending the messages (in ms)

  • baudRate (-1 for no serial)

Add the MidiSensors Parameters:

  • type: ANALOG_SENSOR or TOUCH_SENSOR

  • pin: pin to read from (for example A2)

  • min: minimum value of the reading

  • max: maximum value of the reading

  • channel: midi channel

  • number: midi note number

  • threshold: threshold for noteOn/noteOff messages, -1 for ControlChange message

run MidiSensor.loop() every frame or MidiSensor.loog(true) to get values on serial port
