The firmware binary (/firmware/portapack-h1-havoc.bin) is not always up to date with the current code. This is done on purpose to avoid providing untested or WIP code in the ready-to-go file.
Building from source is pretty easy on Ubuntu, please follow these steps.
How to flash your PortaPack: Flashing firmware
The top bar is always present. From left to right, it shows:
- A "back" button, if it is possible to go to the previous UI screen.
- The current screen/app title.
- The stealth mode toggle button (green if enabled).
- The text entry mode select button (currently disabled as being not very useful).
- The screenshot button.
- The sleep button.
- The SD card status.
