Welcome to the oceanography-visualizations wiki!
Oceanographers commonly work with huge data sets and one of the most common languages used in the field is MATLAB. I learned MATLAB before python, cloud computing, SQL, etc. and can now see the full potential for new languages and technologies to add speed and power to oceanographic research. Here I present some examples of my analyses and visualizations of oceanographic data from when I first learned how to code.
