Manual test plan for extension updates

Manual Tests Template

Please update as new extensions are added. Copy this to a new issue when extensions are updated. The tests should run for macOS, Windows ia32, and a Linux distro for each release.

Per Extension

(on the latest version of Brave)

1. Clear (or safely move) your /brave folder which contains extensions.

1Password

1. Enable 1Password.
2. Check version number.
3. Attempt to log into a site using the context menu.
4. Attempt to add a new password for a site.

Dashlane

1. Enable Dashlane.
2. Check version number.
3. Attempt to log into a site using the context menu.
4. Attempt to add a new password for a site.

Lastpass

1. Enable Lastpass.
2. Check version number.
3. Attempt to log into a site using the context menu.
4. Attempt to add a new password for a site.

PDF Viewer

1. Enable PDF Viewer.
2. Check version number.
3. Attempt to view a pdf.
4. Attempt to print a pdf.

Save to Pocket

1. Enable Pocket.
2. Check version number.
3. Attempt to add a site using the context menu.

WebTorrent

1. Enable WebTorrent.
2. Check version number.
3. Attempt to download a .torrent file.
4. Attempt to download a magnet link.
