Here's a checkbox list of what is and isn't working in JAWS
- When JBrick opens it reads out JBrick and then it reads the first selected item in the toolbar which is by default the new file button.
- Using the left and right arrows key will go through the buttons on the toolbar and it will read out each of the buttons as they are hovered over it will also read insert f1 help on some of the tool menu buttons.
- When going though the tool menu buttons when it gets to a separator it will not say anything and you will be able to go to the next button by the pressing the arrow keys.
- hitting tab at the end of the tool bar will bring you to the the tree. It will read the selected tree. Using the arrow keys you can tab through the tree.
- Hitting the tab button will bring you to the documents tab. It will highlight and read the last edited and open document.
- You can tab between the open documents by hitting ctr + tab which will read what the name of the document is.
- Ctr + tab from the editing document will bring you to the status tab below. Another tab will bring you into the status tab.
- Another tab goes back to the tool bar menu which will read off the new file button again.
- Selecting preferences will read off everything in the preferences box and then the user can tab through the window and hit enter to select what they want to use.
- When clicking or moving to a different line in the Editor pane, JAWS should read off the line number along with any other expected readout.
- Selecting the compile / download button will bring up a dialog box reading the results of the compilation / download. JAWS will read the dialog box and the button
- Tab will bring you into the document that is selected and will start reading where the cursor is currently.
