Using the Downloader tool
First you'll get asked to select your preferred login method. The easiest way to get started is to use login&password authentication, so type 1
and press enter. You'll get asked for your login and password and if everything goes fine you'll be able to store the token in the tool's configuration file. It's recommended that you store it, so you don't have to sign in every time you run this application.
You might be asked to accept the Google Play ToS if it's the first time you use this application. It's required because the actual Google Play client does this as well on the first start.
After signing in and accepting ToS you'll be asked for the package name of the application you want to download. Remember however, that for now you have to own the application - no matter if it's free or paid. So to download free apps you have to first start downloading them on your actual device (you can cancel the install as soon as it starts downloading the app) and then you'll be able to download them using this tool.
