Releases: Juris-M/zotero-standalone-build
Juris-M 5.0.7.0m1
This is the first stable release of Juris-M 5.0.
Note that this version of the client will not update automatically. This is a temporary shortcoming: automatic updating will be implemented in a future release.
Juris-M 5.0.0m1alpha
This is a preliminary release of Juris-M 5.0 (JM5), a reference manager based on Zotero 5.0, with support for legal and multilingual resources. As with preliminary versions of any software, you should take several precautions when installing or running it. Specifically:
- Be sure to take a full backup of your local Juris-M or Zotero data before installation
- Test the install process initially in a separate user account on your PC
- Disable automatic sync during initial testing
- Enable sync for one or more low-priority libraries and test before proceeding to more sensitive data
- Watch one of the project mailing lists for bug reports, release announcements, et cetera
JM5 is and will remain a Standalone-only release. To enable Juris-M support in Chrome, visit the Google Web Store, search for "juris", and install the Juris-M Connector. Support for Firefox will be forthcoming in due course.
Note: Upon installation, JM5 will perform an upgrade of an existing Juris-M database. The upgraded database is incompatible with previous versions of Juris-M. (It is possible to revert to JM4 by restoring a copy of the previous database from backup and installing a JM4 client.)
Note: Automatic updates are disabled in JM5. Subsequent upgrades are to be done by reinstalling the JM5 client, which may overwrite some configuration parameters.
