Release notes for Mensinator version 1.8
All issues can be found here: https://github.com/EmmaTellblom/Mensinator/issues?q=is%3Aissue+milestone%3A%22Version+1.8%22+
Previously only period dates and ovulation was allowed to be exported and imported. But after user input app now also can handle app_settings so that you always have Mensinator customized to your liking!
Mensinator now has a setting to change language! Right now the app is available in Swedish, English, Tamil and Hindi. More languages will be added in the future. If you are interested in translating to your language, give us a shout and we'll help you!
Previously, Google’s backup mechanism was enabled for app data. This has now been explicitly disabled, and data extraction rules have been implemented to further ensure that no data is backed up.
We have introduced a new feature to remind you of your upcoming period. You can now set a notification to alert you in advance. If you set the value to 0, notifications will be disabled. If you choose a number greater than 0, a notification will be enabled, and you will receive a reminder X days before your next predicted period.
The colors in the app have been subtly adjusted to create a more cohesive and less distracting visual experience.
We want you, the user, to be able to determine how the calculations are calculated. So now there is two new settings, period history and ovulation history. This means that you can decide for yourself how many cycles back the calculations should go when calculating and predicting your next period and ovulation.
Symptoms can now be given colors which will reflect in the calendar. This means that you will quickly be able to see which symptoms you have added to which dates.
You can now disable cycle numbers in the settings if you prefer a cleaner, more streamlined calendar view. This option allows users who are not interested in cycle numbers to customize their experience according to their preferences.
