This is a ruby module that can be used to interact with the textbelt api (textbelt.com)
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'textgem'
And then execute:
$ bundle install
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install textgem
tx = Textgem.new("curl", "https://textbelt.com")
Textgem.sendsms("phone", "message", "textbelt_api_key", "webhook")
Saves JSON output in the variable smsoutput. Parsed JSON output is saved in sms (hash).
Textgem.quota("textbelt_api_key")
Saves JSON output in the variable quotaoutput. Parsed JSON output is saved in quota (hash).
Textgem.status("textid")
Saves JSON output in the variable statusoutput. Parsed JSON output is saved in status (hash).
Textgem.repliecheck("webhook")
Saves JSON output in the variable replieoutput. Parsed JSON output is saved in replie (hash).
Textgem.testsms("textbelt_api_key")
Saves JSON output in the variable testsmsoutput. Parsed JSON output is saved in testsms (hash).
After checking out the repo, run bin/setup
to install dependencies. You can also run bin/console
for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install
. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb
, and then run bundle exec rake release
, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem
file to rubygems.org.
