Question on offline skins for servers

Thanks for the mod!! was looking for something just like it :D

Though I do have two questions:

• I see my default skin with this mod is alex, is this intended?
• I see you have offline skins stored in .minecraft/cachedImages/skins, is there a folder server side to store these things? Or does each player need to put their skins in their own client?
