USWDS-Sandbox - Usability: Create prototype for early 2025 testing

We plan to conduct usability testing in late January or early February 2025 to test the following:

• combobox
• date picker
• time picker
• character count
• tooltip
• breadcrumb
• error states

I created a test scenario and prototype mockups in Mural. I annotated it with orange and yellow stickies to note things like interactive requirements.

We will need 2 prototypes since we are testing differences in versions of breadcrumb, date picker hint text, and will also test error states.

We should aim to have the prototypes built by January 17, 2025 so we can begin testing shortly after.

Next steps

Branch off of the previous prototype prototype/zebra to create a new prototype with two states.

Follow mockup 🔒 to create a page that shows:

1. Default state: user books a reservation at Purplestone national park.
2. Error state: user has an error on date picker and Character Count has gone over the limit.

Components should be reusable for the error state page, but also for future iterations.
