8.6.4 for Debian/Ubuntu
Check the commit history of lmod at https://github.com/TACC/Lmod/commits/8.6.4
Lua 5.4 still not supported - I will have to adopt lua-posix on Debian to bring it to this century.
Whoever clones this repo now can simply do a cd docker; ./build.sh to generate the debfile. The obvious dependencies are bash and docker on your machine. I tested this on Mac OS (there are some things with sed on bsd which are different from linux).

8.6.2 for debian/ubuntu
Please, check the commit history of lmod at https://github.com/TACC/Lmod/commits/8.6.2
Plus, this version upgrades the lua requirement from 5.2 to 5.3. Lua 5.4 is not supported because lua-posix is severely outdated.
