Hello,
I am Daniel, a mathematician, and a data science consultant.
I am involved in co-organizing the Scicloj community, where Clojure developers collaborate on building a few core projects of the emerging Clojure data stack.
I've been involved in creating and co-maintaining a few of the relevant projects:
- ClojisR - a bridge from Clojure to R
- Notespace (on hold) - a literate programming and data visualization tool - has been used in the community for a couple of years, and served as a test bed of multiple variations of the "namespace as a notebook" idea
- Clay - a continuation of some of the Notespace ideas, creating a compatibility layer with other relevant tools
- Viz.clj - a work-in-progress exploration of data visualization APIs
- The Scicloj website
In addition to these, I have been running most of the Scicloj dev & study groups, teaching & organizing workshops (e.g. the reClojure 2021 workshops), and have been involved in organizing the reClojure conference.
Some of my current main projects are the coming ds4clj course (and related developments of the necessary tools), and the Jointprob study group.
2 sponsors have funded daslu’s work.
