Is there a way to stop the file transfer?

Due to some reasons, the state of the file transfer is in "STARTED" status and not reaching "COMPLETE" status. I want to stop the file transfer. However there is no option to do so. Could you please help me with this?

Hi, the status not reaching the COMPLETED state, regardless of whether the data itself was transferred successfully, is a known bug of the core-edc version used in our sovity EDC CE. Once we migrate to one of the newer core-EDC, this should be solved.

okay! got it, However, the data itself was not transferred successfully. May I know what URL are we supposed to provide (proxy/just another endpoint) while initiating the file transfer?

Do you have any chance of making any logs from the EDCs available to us here?
Normally you need to specify the data source when creating an asset and the destination of the data transfer when starting the transfer.

Please find the screenshot attached herewith in which where we are supposed to enter an URL to initiate the file transfer. I had created a dummy working URL (something like this; http://127.0.0.1:8000/request_data). But it fails to show the data at that endpoint.

I attempted to stop the file transfer using Postman, but it was unsuccessful. An error occurred, indicating that there was no match found for the specified transfer process ID.

Also please mention if there was a way to reset the local demo.

Hi, we would still need the logs from the consumer and provider EDC to have a chance to understand why the data transfer fails in this local demo.

The screenshot shows the correct place, where the target URL and all other required information, such as authorization parameters of the data sink, must be specified.

Without the logs, it is difficult to say why the data is not transferred in this case. Maybe the data can't be retrieved from the source, maybe it can't be written to the destination, or maybe it's something in between.

To reset the local demo, ideally stop the running containers, delete them and remove the associated volumes.
