Changes in server-part not visible on reload

Thank´s for sharing this great code snippet 🎉
I tried it for the front-end of shiny (ui-part, JS, CSS, ...) and it is amazing! However today I was editing the server part of shiny and the changes were not reflected in the app on reload. Is this behaviour expected?

*I don´t run the code within an job, but in an regular R-Terminal (as I work from VSCode)
