Docker image. #21
Comments
Thanks! Always fun seeing people find my other projects. If you just wanted to try it you could try the official instance at https://konshuu.com/ but if you still want to self host I can probably provide a docker image. |
Konshuu seems like a very interesting tool. In the meantime, I can suggest you to consider adding an option to switch to European time formatting. Thanks for the great work :) |
For the date formatting, it should auto-format using your browser's set locale, I just changed my language in Firefox settings from English (US) to Japanese and now I get yyy/mm/dd. Try changing your language/locale settings to maybe English (GB) or something. Good idea on the start-of-week setting. I've been meaning to add more settings if people ever started using the site so I'll add it to my todo list. No promises that I'll get that done anytime soon though! |
Thank you. |
Hello. For educational purposes, I learnt how to build, tag and push your image to docker hub. If that is a problem, please let me know and I'll remove it. I'm am now trying to deploy it using portainer so I'm working on your docker-compose and I don't succeed. Can I put the .env info in the docker-compose as environment variables ? What would a proper docker-compose would look like like this ? Again, this all is for educational purpose. I'd totally understand if you've no time for this. |
Hello.
I found konshuu because I am an Alexandrite user. It makes my browsing on Lemmy much pleasant, so thank you.
I stumbled upon Konshuu and it looks appealing, so I wanted to try it. But I'm just an hobbyist selfhoster, and I'm not sure I understand how to pull the repo and build the image myself. I always make a mess when I try that so I usually give up 😅
Is there any chance you can provide a pre-built docker image with the according docker-compose when you have time or motivation to do so ? That'd be greatly appreciated.
Anyway, thanks for you job on Alexandrite :)
