pyinotify event queue overflowed

I am getting this when moving ~10K files in the watcher folder. Can someone guide me on how to increase the "max_queued_events" size for pyinotify?

To change the queue length to 256K:
sysctl -w fs.inotify.max_queued_events=262144

This is only part of the problem. Other parts of this problem are:

• Linux doesn't tell you how many overflow events there were
• This python interface doesn't tell you how much work it did (Provide statistics on how many events were in the queue #190)
