Describe the bug

I noticed that after running Metals on the metals repository itself after a while we get a lot of memory used. I think most of it is presentation compilers, which we don't shut down ever. It seems to only creep up after a while and I haven't yet figured why.

Might good to investigate how to clean the presentation compilers memory usage.
