The original Soduto project seems to be inactive. It would be convenient if there is a Homebrew tap to install and update this fork.

I recently added the Sparkle Framework so that Soduto can check for updates by itself. Are you suggesting to make a Homebrew Cask or a Tap for the ease of updates?

Also if I make a Homebrew Cask or a Tap, should I release the same version of Soduto that I release on GitHub Releases which contains the Sparkle Framework? Wouldn’t seem a bit weird that Homebrew would be updating the version of Soduto which can also update itself?

I'm not sure if I made sense...

Sorry, I think I didn't make it clear. Not specially for updates. You are right that using Homebrew to update this Soduto fork doesn't make much sense, but Homebrew provides functionalities like zap to fully clean up the software.

For updates, you could add auto_updates true to the cask file, so that it won't be updated by Homebrew.

That sounds good! Also there's already a unofficial Soduto cask that installs the official version of Soduto on your system. I kinda feel confused what I should do if I wanted to distribute my forked version of Soduto in the Homebrew Cask Repository. Or should I make a tap?

I'm not familiar with Homebrew either, but I think it's best to have a different package name and make it to the Homebrew Cask Repository.
