more info in comment for commit that breaks that.

If what I've propose is correct, just let me know, I will prepare pull request (with proper test coverage)

I noticed the problem myself as well and tried out your changes which make sense to me. I commited your fix in my fork. Not that I want to take credit for it.

I changed the order clauses of the other calls in the file as well, though they shouldn't really make any difference.

It was more then one year ago. Sorry but I do not remember more details (what was the project and the rails version).

If nobody complain about it since then, I would consider closing it ...
