Description(this will appear on youtube):

I've done a lot of front end development work in my career. Think React, AngularJS, Rails UJS and JQuery enhanced pages. At no point can I say that I've enjoyed any of them, I was giving serious consideration to re-branding away from a full stack dev.

Enter Hotwire and I'm actually enjoying it.

This is a peak into what life is like building and maintaining a modern Rails webapp.

Estimated Talk Time: 15 - 20 mins? I'll try and keep it short

Preferred Month to Present: November 2024. I may have something for the October 24th meetup but I'll also only just be back from holidays...

Preferred Social media handles: Twitter @gardengnome_au (in case anyone is still there...)

Mugshot (will be use in the slides):
