Recently, I have had the issue that the setup dialog does not open the configuration window. It works initially after a fresh install.
Jack itself and all other QJackCtl dialogs (Graph, About, etc.) work perfectly fine as far as I can tell.

This is a significant inconvenience. I have been playing around with different installed Qt versions for development purposes. However, it is unclear why this would affect only the setup dialog. Do you have any idea what might cause this?

Running QjackCtl 0.9.13 with Qt 6.6.1 installed via homebrew on macOS Ventura 13.6.4 with Intel CPU.

sorry, no clue atm.

try removing ~/.config/rncbc.org/QjackCtl.conf and start over

I do not have that file or rncbc.org directory. QjackCtl persistently remembers its settings, so the configuration should be somewhere. Do you know where else it may be?

The setup config also works sporadically (re-installing isn't the only thing that seems to momentarily "fix" it). But I have yet to see a pattern of when it works and when it does not. Furthermore, the setup dialog sometimes does not close or accept settings, i.e., clicking [OK] or [Apply] does not have an effect.

then it seems a specific macosx/qt6 build issue... i just can't help you there. so sorry.

ask your bitten-fruit walled-garden fellows perhaps?

ps. only [OK] and [Cancel] should get the dialog dismissed; [Apply] does not, although it should have the same effect of [OK] on settings.
