that might happen when you started a bunch of all other jack client programs and you never looked in the graph to where they were placed before...

qjackctl remembers the location tough: so you can move and bring the far-outsiders to the center and they will stay put next time they're launched.

I just ran the mamba keyboard for the first time ever, and it also appeared in the bar-bottom corner.

So memory of past events couldn't be involved.
