caught up by #13523

apache_avro has been published on crates.io since 0.14.0 (2022-08-04), so the initial motivation to fork is no longer valid.

The patches on ref and decimal type can also be done without fork.

But the recent patch on date default needs to be fixed in upstream.

Staying on a forked version means we need to do such rebases regularly without the help of dependabot.
