Sorry, just seen this issue. I can confirm that some 5s models (and possibly iPads?) are affected by this problem as I've seen it on one of my friends' phone, which was replaced by Apple in 2018. So I guess it has something to do with iOS 10 not being fully compatible the newer replacement models that were shipped with iOS 11+?
