I've noticed in a few r-universe repos something like
in the README gets replaced with
in the "Readme and manuals" section for packages (for examples see https://ropensci.r-universe.dev/historydata#readme and https://ropensci.r-universe.dev/rebird#readme). This was a bit surprising, but may be related to #72 and seems to be done via cranlike-server: https://github.com/r-universe-org/cranlike-server/blob/master/routes/v2.js#L154.
It's not clear why this would need to be done for displaying the README on the page, is there something else going on here? Is the assumption that the development version of packages should be installed via r-universe as the repo, not GitHub?
