Here is a recent St Louis Fed paper estimating regional Beveridge curves:

It might contain interesting elements for Camilla's project. They seem to find a few types of Beveridge curves—meaning that different areas have Beveridge curves with similar patterns, just like different industries seem to have Beveridge curves with similar patterns.
At the minimum, it would be good to try to link the industry results to the area results, and see if they are consistent. That is, can we explain the area results from the industry results, given that certain areas specialize in a certain industry?
