Erratic search behavior

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  Type search text into search input box
2.  Press the search button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
We expect the search process to find matches in a linear fashion, from the 
start of the document to the end.  Instead of find matches in a sequential, 
linear fashion, it finds matches at the bottom of the page, then at the top, 
and sometimes not at all (even when we know there is a match).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Most current version.  November 2013.

Please provide any additional information below.
Problem appears to exist in both classic and 'zine' versions of FlexPaper
