The maximum number of pdik cycles is hardcoded in main.h as of 36d647d.

The cut-off could instead be:

  • Set by the user at initialization (#5)
  • Runtime-editiable like the node standard deviations and heights
  • Guessed based on the distance or difficulty of the transformation
