Multi columns mixin "make-cols"

As i understand now we have only options as bellow:

    @include make-col-ready();

    @include media-breakpoint-up(sm) {
        @include make-col(6);
    }
    @include media-breakpoint-up(lg) {
        @include make-col(8);
    }
}

It will be easier and cleaner to define columns through breakpoints like: @include make-cols(12,8,4,12,12) with default "12". Bellow my custom mixin for that (added half of container margin - for my own use). Could be better and shorter, of course.

What about people overriding default BS breakpoints, like adding new breakpoints?
IMHO, the look of this mixin is weird.

It is just a idea, I wrote that it could be much better and shorter, of course. Mixin is weird because it is for my own use in special case
