Hi there, great project with a lot of potential, really looking forward.

For those who can’t contribute with code, would you consider allowing sponsors or donations (one off or repeated), so funding with no constraints? You’re fully bootstrapped as I understand, maybe this would help secure funding until you guys can provide the cloud service or enterprise support plans.

Really appreciate the sentiment 💜
Since we are now venture-funded it wouldn't send the right message if we added the option for donation.
This does not change our open-source ethos, but means that we are able to make this open-source project sustainable and grow the core team.

Hi @AlexFrid , thanks for taking the time to respond to this old GH issue. I'm very glad to see surrealdb being VC funded now, adopted by people and stable with the v1 released and still embracing the OS concept. Wish you all the best in the future, and hope I'll be able to use surrealdb on my next project 🚀
