I've seen Nextcloud recommended as a good privacy cloud storage almost everywhere, but I was never able to figure out how to use it. It gives a ton of provider options without telling me what's the difference between them or their pricing or which one I should choose. Some of them are not even in English. How can I choose a good provider other than to check if they support E2EE (which none of the ones I saw do)? |

Nextclouds E2EE is flawed and usually setup fails. Don't use nextcloud from providers, only use it if you self host it. |

If you can't self-host Nextcloud, I'll suggest you to go with Proton Drive, you have 500GB, it is enough for most people. It is 10€/$ each month, but privacy is expensive when it comes to service providers. |
