Whoogle Search is a web frontend to Google, similar to Startpage. It is open-source and can be self-hosted; perhaps privacyguides could provide an instance as well. |

I haven't found a good Whoogle's public instance. All of them (yes I tested them all) either had downtime or rate limit, which might affect average user experience. SearXNG on the other hands, has a few really good public instances that almost never failed. Maybe we could consider Whoogle when there's more reliable public instances? |

Does this provide something that SearXNG doesn't? The way I see it, they're comparable, only the latter allows you to search using multiple search engines, instead of just Google, so I'm not seeing a need to include Whoogle at the moment. |
