Consider suggesting further Firefox extensions based on threat model #35
-
Privacy Guides currently only suggests content blocking extensions (e.g. UBlock Origin) and Snowflake. We should consider adding more, as there are certainly many available. It is up to the user to determine their own threat model and whether adding further extensions suits their needs. |

What other extensions do you suggest? |

The reason we don't recommend more extensions, is that you don't need anything else, from a privacy perspective (some would argue you don't even need uBlock Origin). We used to recommend more extensions in the past, but all of the functionality that they provided is now either obsolete, or baked into the browser itself. Note regarding Snowflake: We explicitly mention that you shouldn't use this as an extension, as there's no reason to do so. If you want to contribute to the Tor Network, you can use an embed of Snowflake instead. |

This is not good reason for anything. Ideally a browser would have no extensions because the functionality would already be there.
This is nonsense. |
