Add encrypted file systems to the file encryption section #304

I'm of the opinion that some sort of encrypted file system like EncFS, eCryptFS, or gocryptfs. I use EncFS, and I find it rather useful. None of these cryptosystems are perfect, but they're decent. |

For linux based systems I'd still suggest dm-crypted volumes, as there then isn't leaky metadata such as how many files there are per user etc. In any case it's not really within scope of Privacy Guides. We would suggest using what your operating system provides in it's installer. If you're an advanced user (such as arch/gentoo etc user) then you likely don't need our advice. |
