Like you have recommendations for sandboxing for Linux and Android, we should add one for Windows, which is imho Sandboxie Plus |

I have been told by multiple researchers that the Sandbox is not properly implemented with Sandboxie. Looking at past vulnerabilities, it seems like it has had various privilege escalation vulnerabilities as well. Also, from a quick courtesy look at it, it doesn't seem like it restricts read access to the system, at least not by default. I only see that it puts writes into a folder and overlay that over the filesystem in the sandbox. I don't think we will be adding it. @flawedworld @namazso Do you have any comment on this? |
