Alternatives to CanaryMail on iOS

We should evaluate whether alternatives such as PGPro or iPGMail are viable for reading/writing encrypted email on iOS.

My understanding is these don't integrate nicely with the mail client, but also don't require you to give your email credentials to a third party.

A while ago a found an open-source, PGP supporting app for iOS called pEp Email. However, imo, Canary Mail is still light years ahead of pEp, which lacks support for some basic features like email aliases (although they say it's in the pipeline) and dark mode, the UX is also not nearly as polished and native-feeling as Canary Mail. They do also seem to be pushing updates at a relatively slow rate.
