Invalid Syntax Error

Just installed the op1repacker module using Thonny 4.1.6
When I enter:
op1repacker unpack op1_246.op1
as a Shell command in the Thonny Shell Prompt box I get:
File "<stdin>", line 1
op1repacker unpack op1_246.op1
^^^^^^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax

What am I doing wrong? Trying to follow the user guide but I'm clearly doing something wrong. I tried to write a program calling the methods as well but couldn't figure that out

I was able to get the firmware built on https://replit.com/ so this seems to be an incompatibility with Thonny. I have not experienced this with any other modules, no idea how to begin troubleshooting this.
